The Vaporesso Armour Max Mod

Welcome to my 1st Vaporesso review !

It’s been a while since I reviewed a new mod. Frankly, there haven’t been many that caught my eye.

This mod has. Featuring dual 21700 batteries (comes with 18650 adapters), I snapped it up in a hurry.

I have a terrible habit of DROPPING my mods. This habit has caused many to give up the ghost.

This mod promises a more drop-resistant design, with its rubberized molding and sturdy construction !

Also worth noting that it appears to be water resistant, although it’s not advertised as such.

This mod has a 0.96″ TFT screen, with a unique horizontal placement. The mod actually reaches 220 watts, which is a bit of an oddball !

It’s got the AXON chipset, which is easy to navigate, with bright screen colors, easily read in the day or night.

The chip has different vaping modes. Fi(t), ECO, Pulse, and TC modes.

The ECO mode seems to give a more rounded out vaping experience, and the Pulse, to me, seems very similar to the Fi(t) mode, which is default and straight up vaping.

In TC mode, up/down changes the temperature, but, to change the wattage hit fire + up. To engage the resistance lock, hit fire + down.

The TC works very well, I tried it on TC-SS mode and it works nicely.

The mod has a unique fire button lock. It’s a hardware lock, engaged by sliding the button up.

It’s also got up/down lock, triggered by pressing both up/down at the same time.

The mod also has a unique battery door mechanism. One press of the button and the lid pops open. Feels secure, while being gentle upon the batteries.

I have a 40mm tank on this mod, which, does NOT fit very well, because of two ridges that surround the 510 pin. It works, though, just a bit of force to make contact is all !

I feel like this mod will last a long time, even in MY hands !

It’s got a good price point, too, costing around $40-50 on most sites.

So what’s not to like ? I give this mod two thumbs up !
